Abstract
Sistem pentanahan pada tower SUTT jaringan transmisi merupakan bagian instalasi listrik yang berfungsi untuk mengamankan peralatan-peralatan listrik. System pentanahan ini memiliki sifat low impedance (tahanan rendah), sehingga arus yang berlebih yang di sebabkan oleh gangguan sambaran petir dapat di alirkan secara cepat ke tanah sehingga dapat meminimalisir kerusakan-kerusakan pada peralatan tower dan mengamankan mahluk hidup yang beraktifitas di sekitar tower transmisi. Untuk mengetahui nilai resistansi pentanahan langsung dan nilai resistansi pentanahan kaki tower, perlu adanya pengukuran pada setiap tower transmisi dengan pengukuran secara langsung pada tower dengan menggunakan Megger. Hasil menunjukan bahwa nilai resistansi pentanahan tower SUTT saluran transmsisi seharusnya pada tower 70 kV Nilai resistansinya harus ≤ 5Ω dan pada tower 150 kV-175kV nilai resistansinya harus ≤10Ω dan tower transmisi SUTET 500 kV nilai resistansinya harus ≤15Ω karena arus listrik akan melewati penghantar dengan nilai resistansi yang rendah, jadi apabila nilai resistansi tower transmisi tinggi maka akan mudah terkena gangguan sambaran petir. Nilai resistansi sebelum melakukan pemeliharaan menggunakan metode Direct Grounding pada tower 60 sebesar 9,65Ω dan setelah di lakukan pemeliharaan mendapatkan nilai resistansi 3,30Ω. Sedangkan pada tower 69 sebelum di lakukan pemeliharaan menggunakan metode Counterpoise nilai resistansi yang di dapatkan sebesar 5,91Ω dan setelah pemeliharaan di dapatkan hasil 0,5Ω.
The grounding system on the transmission network SUTT tower is part of the electrical installation that functions to secure electrical equipment. This grounding system has low impedance properties, so that the excessive current caused by lightning strike disturbances can be flowed quickly to the ground so as to minimize damage to tower equipment and secure living things that are active around the transmission tower. This thesis discusses direct grounding and grounding at the foot of the tower on the Sungguminasa-Maros and Maros-Bollangi lines. To determine the direct grounding resistance value and the tower foot grounding resistance value, it is necessary to measure each transmission tower by measuring directly on the tower using a Megger. The results show that the grounding resistance value of the transmission line SUTT tower should be on the 70 kV tower. The resistance value should be 5Ω and for the 150 kV-175kV tower the resistance value should be 10Ω and the 500 kV SUTET transmission tower should be 15Ω because the electric current will pass through the conductor with low resistance value, so if the resistance value of the transmission tower is high, it will be easily affected by lightning strikes. The resistance value before maintenance using the Direct Grounding method on tower 60 is 9.65Ω and after maintenance it gets a resistance value of 3,30Ω. Whereas in tower 69, before maintenance using the Counterpoise method, the resistance value obtained was 5.91Ω and after maintenance the results were 0.5Ω.
