Penelitian proyek akhir ini dilakukan pada peralatan PMT 150 kV di gardu induk Surabaya Barat. Pemutus tenaga merupakan peralatan berperan penting dalam suatu gardu induk, karena apabila terjadi gangguan atau hubung singkat maka PMT dapat memutus tegangan agar dapat melindungi peralatan lainnya pada saat terjadi gangguan. Pada penelitian ini pengambilan data dilakukan dengan observasi lapangan dengan melakukan beberapa pengujian pada tahanan isolasi, tahanan kontak, tahanan pentanahan, keserempakan kontak. Lalu melakukan studi literatur dengan mempelajari buku referensi sebagai pedoman untuk menganalisa hasil pengujian yang telah dilakukan. Setelah dilakukan pengujian hasil pada pengujian tahanan pentanahan pada tiap fasa yaitu 0,2 Ω. Pada pengujian tahanan kontak nilai tiap fasa adalah 8,03 µΩ, 20,42 µΩ, 8,81 µΩ. Pada pengujian keserempakan kontak pada saat open 35,8 ms, 36,6 ms, 35,7ms. Dan pada saat close 63,4 ms, 63,2 ms, 63,1 ms. Lalu pada tahanan isolasi pada titik atas-ground 53 GΩ, 69 GΩ, 65 GΩ. Titik bawah ground 356 GΩ, 425 GΩ, 266 GΩ. Titik atas-bawah 325 GΩ, 369 GΩ, 452 GΩ. Pada keseluruhan pengujian pada PMT ini nilainya masih memenuhi standar, maka dapat dikatakan PMT 150 kV bay Tandes 2 dalam kondisi baik dan layak untuk beroperasi.

This final project research was conducted on 150 kV PMT equipment at the West Surabaya substation. A power breaker is an important piece of equipment in a substation, because if there is a disturbance or short circuit, the PMT can cut off the voltage in order to protect other equipment in the event of a disturbance. In this study, data collection was carried out by field observation by conducting several tests on isolation prisoners, contact prisoners, grounding prisoners, contact forging. Then conduct a literature study by studying reference books as a guide to analyze the results of tests that have been carried out. After testing the results of the grounding resistance testing in each phase, which is 0.2 Ω. In contact resistance testing the values of each phase were 8.03 μΩ, 20.42 μΩ, 8.81 μΩ. In the test the forging of contacts at the time of open 35.8 ms, 36.6 ms, 35.7ms. And at close 63.4 ms, 63.2 ms, 63.1 ms. Then on the insulation resistance at the top-ground point 53 GΩ, 69 GΩ, 65 GΩ. Ground bottom point 356 GΩ, 425 GΩ, 266 GΩ. Top-bottom points 325 GΩ, 369 GΩ, 452 GΩ. In the overall test on this PMT, the value still meets the standards, so it can be said that the PMT 150 kV bay Tandes 2 is in good condition and fit for operation.
