Banyaknya penggunaan Saluran Kabel Tegangan Menengah (SKTM) di wilayah Cikupa diperlukan keandalan untuk pendistribusian tenaga listrik ke pelanggan-pelanggan. Sehinga perlu dilakukan pemeliharaan secara berkala guna meningkatkan keandalan jaringan dan menurunkan jumlah gangguan pada SKTM. Salah satu gangguan yang akan terjadi adalah kegagalan isolasi yang disebabkan oleh partial discharge. Dalam mengetahui kondisi kabel perlu dilakukan assesment kabel untuk melihat muatan partial discharge pada SKTM serta menentukan rekomendasi pemeliharaan untuk selanjutnya ditindaklanjuti. Pengujian ini dilakukan pada 2 segmen yaitu Penyulang Buruh Segmen GI Pasar Kemis ke PSK 151 dan Penyulang Pelatih Segmen TS 96 ke TS 89. Pengujian pertama yaitu VLF Test yang dimana kedua segmen salah satu fasanya mengalami breakdown sehingga perlu dilakukan pengujian partial discharge. Selanjutnya dilakukan pengujian partial discharge untuk menentukan kualitas kondisi kabel. Nilai PDIV dan PDEV pada segmen GI Pasar Kemis ke PSK 151 tidak muncul dalam hasil pengujian dimungkinkan karena tidak maksimalnya fungsi kerja alat sehingga poin health index diambil yaitu 2 point. Kemudian untuk besar muatan PD pada segmen GI Pasar Kemis ke PSK 151 yang terukur difasa 2 sebesar 40886 pC lebih dari 1000 pC sehingga status bernilai 3 point. Jumlah point sebesar 5 point yang berarti kabel berstatus buruk dengan estimasi pemeliharaan 6 bulan. Pengujian kedua Penyulang Pelatih Segmen TS 96 ke TS 89. Nilai PDIV dan PDEV pada segmen TS 96 ke TS 89 yang terukur lebih dari tegangan kerja yang sebesar 11,5 kV sehingga status bernilai 1 point. Kemudian untuk besar muatan PD pada segmen TS 96 ke TS 89 yang terukur di ketiga fasa maksimum lebih dari 1000 pC sehingga status bernilai 3 point. Jumlah point sebesar point yang berarti kabel berstatus waspada dengan estimasi pemeliharaan 1 tahun.

One of the disturbances that will occur is insulation failure caused by partial discharge. In knowing the condition of the cable, it is necessary to conduct a cable assessment to see the partial discharge load on the SKTM and determine maintenance recommendations for further follow-up. This test was carried out in 2 segments, namely the GI Market Kemis segment to PSK 151 and the trainer from the TS 96 to TS 89. The first test was the VLF Test, in which the two segments of one phase experienced a breakdown, so a partial discharge test was necessary. Furthermore, a partial discharge test is carried out to determine the quality of the cable condition. The PDIV and PDEV values in the GI Pasar Kemis segment to PSK 151 do not appear in the test results, it is possible because the tool's work function is not optimal, so the health index points are taken, which is 2 points. Then for the PD load in the GI Pasar Kemis segment to PSK 151 which is measured in phase 2 of 40886 pC, more than 1000 pC so that the status is worth 3 points. The number of points is 5 points which means the cable is in bad status with an estimated maintenance of 6 months. The second test is the TS 96 to TS 89 Segment Trainer. The PDIV and PDEV values in the TS 96 to TS 89 segment which are measured are more than the working voltage of 11.5 kV so that the status is worth 1 point. Then for the PD load on the TS 96 to TS 89 segment which is measured in the three phases the maximum is more than 1000 pC so that the status is worth 3 points. The number of points is 1, which means the cable is on alert status with an estimated maintenance of 1 year.
