Abstract
This study designs an on-grid rooftop Solar Power Plant (PLTS) system for the parking area of the ITPLN Campus to support the use of renewable energy. The system design and technical factors affecting energy efficiency were analyzed and determined using a descriptive quantitative approach. The analysis was based on a land area of approximately ±1,039 m², which allows for the installation of a 150 kW system. With a daily load demand of 648 kW, the system was designed using 997 solar panels rated at 650 Wp each, resulting in a total system capacity of 648.05 kWp. With a configuration of 9° tilt and 0° azimuth, the system is projected to generate approximately 299,350 kWh of electricity per year, with a specific yield of 1,535 kWh/kWp/year. Technical factors such as shading and cable selection significantly affect system efficiency. These results demonstrate the high potential of implementing rooftop PLTS in a campus environment as a step toward clean energy transition
