Pressure Drop Oil merupakan masalah yang bisa mengakibatkan kerusakan yang fatal pada mesin. Salah satunya adalah PT. PLN (Persero) PLTD Bitung yang mengetahui apa itu Pressure Drop Oil, apa pengaruh dan dampak yang akan terjadi. Pressure Drop Oil ini terjadi karena bisa dari akibat mesin nya sendiri dan bisa juga dari tanki penyimpanan oli tersebut. Akibat dari Pressure Drop Oil ini maka ada komponen – komponen yang menjadi rusak dan bahakan mesin bisa trip dan susah untuk running kembali jika Pressure Drop Oil ini tidak di ketahui penyebab nya. Maka agar saya bisa tau kendala Pressure Drop Oil tersebut saya mempelajari sistim L.O Single Line Diagram dari mesin SWD 9 TM 410 RR yang akan dibahas kenapa terjadi penurunan tekanan oli pada mesin tersebut. Dengan bantuan L.O Single Line Diagram saya bisa mempelajari dan memahami cara kerja sistim pelumasan tersebut. Penurunan tkanan oli ini terjadi karena tingkat kekentalan oli berkurang, namun dalam kasus penurunan tekanan oli ini tidak langsung diketahui kendalanya seringkali tidak langsung dilakukan pengecekan, tetapi dilakukan mengganti filter oli, agar bisa memahami lebih jelas jika terjadi penurunan tekanan oli ini harus mengetahui sistem kerja oli pelumasan yaitu di L.O Single Line Oil Diagram. Agar waktu maintenance yang dibutuhkan lebih singkat dan Mesin dapat beroprasi maka harus memperhatikan sistem kerja pelumasan tersebut. Dari penjelasan di atas, maka tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisa penurunan tekanan oli pada mesin SWD 9 TM 410 RR, mengetahui apa itu Pressure Drop Oil dan akibat yang disebabkan oleh penurunan tekanan oli pada mesin SWD 9 TM 410 RR.

This pressure drop oil occurs because it can be caused by the engine itself and can also be from the oil storage tank. So that I can know the constraints of Pressure Drop Oil I studied the L.O Single Line Diagram system from the SWD 9 TM 410 RR engine which will be discussed why there is a decrease in oil pressure on the engine. With the help of L.O Single Line Diagrams I can learn and understand how the lubrication system works. This decrease in oil levels occurs because the level of oil viscosity is reduced, but in the case of a decrease in oil pressure the obstacles are not immediately known, often not immediately checked, but changing the oil filter, in order to understand more clearly if there is a decrease in oil pressure lubrication which is in the L.O Single Line Diagram. So that the maintenance time needed is shorter and the machine can operate then it must pay attention to the lubrication work system. From the explanation above, the purpose of this study is to analyze the oil pressure drop on the SWD 9 TM 410 RR engine, to know what Pressure Drop Oil is and the result of a decrease in oil pressure on the SWD 9 TM 410 RR engine.
