Vacuum Pump adalah sebuah alat yang digunakan untuk mengeluarkan molekul-molekul gas pada suatu ruangan.Sedangkan fungsi Vacuum Pump yang ada pada pembangkit listrik digunakan untuk membuat vacuum pada kondensor pada saat turbin – generator beroperasi ,dimana uap bekas yang telah digunakan untuk memutar turbin sisi LP ( Low Prasure ) terakhir akan melewati sisi last blade , untuk mempercepat terjadinya kondensasi menjadi air lagi dengan jalan didalam condenser harus dibuat vakum , Pada Peroyek akhir ini menjelaskan mengenai kerusakan komponen yang sering terjadi pada Vacuum Pump.Langkah-langkah pembongkaran dan perbaikan dilakukan secara optimal untuk meningkatkan proses kerja pompa.Presentase kenaikan kinerja pompa setelah dilakukan pemeliharaan preventive adalah 3,4%.Prosedur pemeliharaan Vacuum pump dilakukan secara terjadwal dan proyek akhir ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui,mengidentifikasi dan mencegah masalah yang ada pada Vacuum Pump pada pembangkit listrik.
