Abstract
Debris Filter adalah peralatan penyaringan sekunder yang penting, untuk menyaring kotoran yang terbawa saat air pendingin mengalir menuju pipa – pipa kondensor. Kinerja debris filter yang tidak handal dalam melakukan penyaringan menyebabkan aliran air pendingin ke pipa – pipa kondensor berkurang sehingga performa kondensor tidak maksimal. Karena beberapa kelemahan debris filter maka alat ini dikategorikan kurang handal, maka dilakukan improvement untuk mencegah aliran air pendingin berkurang. Yang pertama dengan dilakukan manual ejecting yang efeknya hanya sementara, maka dilakukan alternatif kedua, yaitu dengan penggantian high performance debris filter. Debris filter yang baru ini memiliki beberapa kelebihan yang tidak dimiliki debris filter lama seperti sistem rotasi backwash dua arah dan sistem operasi otomatis. Sistem backwash adalah Ketika tekanan diferensial mencapai pengaturan tertentu, sistem akan memulai pembersihan debris filter untuk backwash. Keandalan Debris Filter mempengaruhi performa kondensor dilihat dari tingkat vacuum dan temperatur outlet pipa kondensor, dapat diketahui performa kondensor ketika ketika temperature outlet cooling water rendah maka vakum kondensor akan semakin tinggi sehingga proses kondensasi dalam kondensor maksimal.
Debris Filter is an important secondary filtering equipment, to filter out dirt that is carried when cooling water flows into condenser pipes. The performance of debris filters that are not reliable in filtering causes the flow of cooling water to the condenser pipes to decrease so that the condenser performance is not optimal. Because of some weaknesses of filter debris, this tool is categorized as less reliable, so improvements are made to prevent the flow of cooling water from being reduced. The first is by manually ejecting the effect only temporarily, a second alternative is done, namely by replacing the high performance debris filter. The new Debris filter has several advantages that the old Debris filter does not have, such as a two-way backwash rotation system and an automatic operating system. The backwash system is when the differential pressure reaches a certain setting, the system starts cleaning the debris filter for the backwash. The reliability of Debris Filter affects the condenser performance from the vacuum level and condenser pipe outlet temperature, it can be seen that the condenser performance when the temperature outlet cooling water is low, the condenser vacuum will be higher so that the condensation process in the condenser is maximal.
