Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of load variation on the effectiveness of a hybrid solar photovoltaic (PV) power system integrated with piezoelectric elements. The system combines solar panels and piezoelectric modules as a renewable energy solution adaptable to environmental changes and load fluctuations. The research employed an experimental method involving three load categories (light, medium, heavy) across four configurations: static PV, PV with solar tracker, standalone piezoelectric, and hybrid system. Data were collected using an IoT-based monitoring system to measure voltage, current, and power in real time. Results show that the solar tracker significantly increases power output, while piezoelectric components contribute additional power under lowlight conditions. The highest efficiency was achieved in the hybrid configuration under medium load. Thus, the PV–piezoelectric hybrid system demonstrates strong potential as an efficient and sustainable renewable energy solution.
