Abstract

Basically, the use of electrical energy in social life has become primary at this time. In recent years, renewable energy has been raised to the forefront of world-wide efforts to reduce human dependence on fossil fuel-derived energy and reduce carbon emissions from its combustion. The power plant that is currently predicted to support the transition process is the Solar Power Plant (photovoltaic). Due to the high pollution caused by dust, there will be a buildup of dust pollutants on the surface of solar panels. This will certainly prevent sunlight from being absorbed by solar panels effectively, resulting in reduced electrical energy generation. The main objective of this research is to be able to develop a series of equipment that is expected to clean and at the same time support the productivity of solar panels in generating electricity. It is expected that this research can produce an effective design and implementation of an automatic solar panel cleaning prototype using Arduino automation.
