Abstract
During testing at PLTU Teluk Balikpapan Unit 1, it was discovered that the efficiency of the boiler increased after undergoing overhouling. The efficiency was calculated using the direct and indirect method and was tested at four different load points: 35 MW, 60 MW, 80 MW, and 103 MW. Prior to the overhouling, the efficiency values obtained were 81.95%, 83.81%, 84.05%, and 83.96%, respectively. On the other hand, the respective efficiency values after overhouling were 82.92%, 85.47%, 84.83%, and 84.76%. As per the data, the boiler's efficiency had increased at each test load by 0.98% at 35 MW, 1.66% at 60 MW, 0.78% at 80 MW, and 0.80% at 103 MW.
Pada pengujian yang telah dilaksanakan didapatkan bahwa nilai efiensi boiler PLTU Teluk Balikpapan Unit 1 mengalami kenaikan setelah dilakukan overhoul. Metode perhitungan efisiensi boiler menggunakan metode perhitungan direct &
indirect method. Pengujian ini dilakukan pada 4 titik beban yaitu 35 MW, 60 MW, 80MW, & 103MW. Nilai efisiensi yang diperoleh pada pengujian sebelum dilakukannya overhoul masing-masing adalah 81.95%, 83.81%, 84.05% & 83.96%.
Sedangkan pada pengujian setelah dilakukannya overhoul diperoleh nilai efisiensi masing-masing yaitu 82.92%, 85.47%, 84.83% & 84.76%. Berdasarkan data diatas diperoleh bahwa terdapat kenaikan % efisiensi pada boiler pada masing-masing beban pengujian yaitu 0.98% pada beban 35 MW, 1.66% pada beban 60MW, 0.78% pada beban 80 MW & 0.80% pada beban 103 MW
