Perkembangan teknologi dewasa ini berkembang sangat pesat seperti mobile phone dan smartphone. Smartphone saat ini lebih diminati oleh masyarakat karena fitur-fitur yang tersedia menjadi daya tarik tersendiri bagi penggunanya. Kebutuhan masyarakat terhadap layanan teknologi IT sangatlah bervariatif, salah satu kebutuhannya adalah dalam bidang pendidikan, contohnya adalah hybrid e-learning. Saat ini PT TEKNOLOGI MERAH PUTIH masih belum memiliki aplikasi mobile mereka sendiri. Training ini sendiri masih mengunakan web dan training offline sebagai produk mereka. Penggunaan web dinilai kurang maksimal dalam transaksi, jadwal kelas dan pembelajaran sehingga dibutuhkan aplikasi yang di bisa diakses lewat teknologi mobile. Metode pengembangan aplikasi yang akan digunakan adalah metode Rapid Application Development(RAD) dengan metode pengujiannya menggunakan BlackBox. Untuk memenuhi kebutuhan itu penulis membuat aplikasi techinlabs.co. untuk smartphone berbasis android yang dapat digunakan dengan mudah oleh pengguna smartphone.
