Memeriksa kehadiran calon mahasiswa baru pada ujian masuk Institut Teknologi – PLN menggunakan aplikasi pihak ke tiga masih kurang efisien dan tepat, karna aplikasi pihak ke tiga sangatlah beresiko untuk dihubungkan dengan server maupun website PMB Institut Teknologi – PLN, karna hal tersebut dapat mengakibatkan data di website tersebut dapat dicuri dan di gunakan untuk hal yang negative oleh pihak yang tidak bertanggung jawab, dari permasalahan tersebut maka penulis mengusulkan aplikasi serupa yang akan menjadi hak milik Institut Teknologi – PLN. Memeriksa kehadiran calon mahasiswa pada ujian masuk Institut Teknologi - PLN dengan barcode merupakan solusi yang memanfaatkan teknologi Informasi Mobile yang mampu menangani permasalahan selama proses presensi dan dapat mengakomodir proses perekaman data presensi, dan dapat mengirim data presensi secara otomatis ke web admin ataupun server Institut Teknologi - PLN sehingga proses rekapitulasi dapat dilakukan lebih cepat. Aplikasi ini juga memakai tagging lokasi yang berguna untuk membaca lokasi pengawas saat bertugas dalam hal mengawas
ujian yang berlangsung.

property of the Institute of Technology – PLN. Checking the presence of prospective students in the entrance exam of institut teknologi - PLN with barcode is a solution that utilizes Mobile Information technology that is able to handle problems during the presidential process and can accommodate the process of recording attendance data, and can send presensi data automatically to the web admin or server of the Institute of Technology - PLN so that the ecapitulation process can be done more quickly. The app also uses location tagging which is useful for reading the location of the supervisor while on duty in terms of alerting the exam that takes place.
