The hadith that has been packaged in digital form only has a search menu or which is known by a search engine to find the desired hadith. However, the problem is for ordinary people who have a problem to solve it will encounter obstacles because there are thousands of hadith from several books. Also, you must understand the keywords to find the hadith in question. A questioning answering system is a system that is useful in finding answers or information from existing questions. Question answering can be developed to assist and facilitate the search for information contained in the hadith. The method used is TF-IDF and Cosine Similarity. TF-IDF is used in matching sentences containing terms to get the weight value of each sentence. The weight value will be used in the calculation of the cosine similarity method. The higher the result of the cosine similarity value is found, the greater the similarity of the sentence with the answer to the question of the hadith. The TF-IDF and Cosine Similarity methods can 90% of the accuracy testing value in the hadith automatic answering application.

Hadits yang sudah dikemas dalam bentuk digital hanya mempunyai menu pencarian atau yang dikenal dangan search engine untuk mencari hadits yang diinginkan. Tetapi, permasalahannya adalah bagi orang awam yang memiliki sebuah permasalahan untuk menyelesaikannya akan menemui kendala karena ada ribuan hadits dari beberapa kitab-kitab. Selain itu, harus mengerti kata kunci untuk menemukan hadits yang dimaksud tersebut.Question answering system adalah sistem yang berguna dalam menemukan jawaban atau infromasi dari pertanyaan yang ada. Question answering dapat dikembangkan untuk membantu dan memudahkan dalam pencarian informasi-informasi yang ada dalam hadits. Metode yang digunakan adalah TF-IDF dan Cosine Similarity. TF IDF digunakan dalam mencocokan kalimat yang mengandung term untuk didapatkan nilai bobot dari masing-masing kalimat. Nilai bobot tersebut akan digunakan dalam perhitungan metode cosine similarity. Semakin tinggi hasil dari nilai cosine similarity ditemukan, maka semakin besar kemiripan kalimat pertanyaan dengan jawaban hadits. Metode TF-IDF dan Cosine Similarity dapat hasil sebesar 90% dari nilai pengujian accuracy pada aplikasi penjawab otomatis hadits.
