Abstract
The implementation of the Contact Finger Cleaner (CFC) in the Transmission Operation Unit (UPT) Surabaya enhances the reliability of the Pole Mechanism Switch (PMS) by reducing temperature and resistance in the Contact Finger, thereby minimizing potential damage and extending the operational lifespan of assets. Research results show that CFC usage improves efficiency by reducing temperature by 33.13% and lowering resistance by up to 92.80%. Additionally, CFC accelerates the PMS maintenance process from 120 minutes to just 15 minutes per set, reducing labor requirements and the risk of failures caused by dirt contamination. With this efficiency, maintenance costs and time can be minimized, while technicians' performance in maintaining equipment becomes more optimal. The implementation of CFC also contributes to the stability of the electrical system by preventing overheating and reducing operational disturbances. Therefore, this tool serves as an innovative solution for more effective, efficient,and sustainable PMS maintenance, supporting the reliability of the power transmission network.
Implementasi alat CFC (Contact Finger Cleaner) di Unit Pelaksana Transmisi (UPT) Surabaya meningkatkan keandalan PMS (Pemisah) dengan menurunkan suhu dan resistansi pada Contact Finger, sehingga mengurangi potensi kerusakan serta
memperpanjang usia operasional aset. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan CFC mampu menurunkan suhu dengan efisiensi sebesar 33,13% serta menurunkan
resistansi dengan efisiensi hingga 92,80%. Selain itu, CFC mempercepat proses pemeliharaan PMS dari 120 menit menjadi 15 menit per set, sehingga mengurangi kebutuhan tenaga kerja serta risiko gangguan akibat kontaminasi kotoran. Dengan
efisiensi ini, biaya dan waktu pemeliharaan dapat ditekan, sementara kinerja teknisi dalam merawat perangkat semakin optimal. Implementasi CFC juga berkontribusi terhadap stabilitas sistem kelistrikan dengan mencegah overheating dan mengurangi gangguan operasional. Oleh karena itu, alat ini menjadi solusi inovatif dalam pemeliharaan PMS yang lebih efektif, efisien, serta berkelanjutan dalam mendukung keandalan jaringan transmisi listrik.
