Kabupaten Trenggalek adalah Kabupaten yang mempunyai banyak tempat wisata. Akan tetapi, tempat wisata tersebut masih belum terlalu diketahui oleh wisatawan dikarenakan kurangnya promosi terhadap tempat wisata yang baru maupun lama kepada wisatawan. Hal tersebut akan menjadi masalah bagi wisatawan maupun Pemerintah Daerah. Masalah bagi wisatawan adalah sulitnya mengetahui tempat wisata yang ada di Kabupaten Trenggalek, baik nama wisata, informasi geografis maupun rute menuju lokasinya. Sedangkan masalah bagi Pemerintah Daerah adalah dengan turunnya kunjungan wisatawan ke tempat wisata, meyebabkan pemasukan Pemerintah Daerah untuk mengelola tempat wisata akan sulit dan tidak lancar. Selain itu, data wisatawan juga tidak bisa terdata dengan pasti. Maka dari itu, untuk menyelesaikan masalah yang telah diketahui, penulis akan merancang aplikasi Sistem Informasi Geografis Menentukan Lokasi Terdekat Tempat Wisata Di Kabupaten Trenggalek Berbasis Android. Metode yang akan digunakan untuk menentukan lokasi terdekat tempat wisata dengan lokasi wisatawan adalah metode haversine. Sedangkan untuk akurasi metode haversine terhadap system menggunakan metode MAPE. Untuk hasil yang diharapkan adalah aplikasi mendapatkan hasil yang cukup akurat dalam menentukan lokasi terdekat tempat wisata sehingga wisatawan dapat dengan mudah menemukan tempat wisata yang ada di Kabupaten Trenggalek.

Trenggalek Regency is a Regency that has many tourist attractions. This will be a problem for tourists and Regional Government. While the problem for the Regional Government is the decline in tourist visits to tourist attractions, causing the Regional Government revenue to manage tourist attractions will be difficult and not smooth. In addition, tourist data cannot be recorded with certainty. Therefore, to solve the problems that have been known, the author will design the application of Geographic Information Systems Determine the Closest Location of Tourist Attractions in Trenggalek Regency Based on Android. The method that will be used to determine the location of the nearest tourist site to the location of tourists is the haversine method. As for the accuracy of the haversine method to the system using the MAPE method. For the expected results is the application to get results that are quite accurate in determining the location of the nearest tourist attractions so that tourists can easily find tourist attractions in the Regency of Trenggalek.
