Saat ini, sistem pengelolaan informasi kompetensi mahasiswa di ITPLN sudah dikomputerisasi, namun masih belum optimal. Proses pencarian dan pengelolaan data kompetensi mahasiswa sering kali memakan waktu dan kurang efektif, terutama karena Dosen Pembimbing Akademik (PA) masih menggunakan metode konvensional yang rentan terhadap kesalahan. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, metode Agile, khususnya Scrum, diterapkan dalam pengembangan aplikasi Competency Information Management (CIM). Metode ini dipilih karena kemampuannya yang mudah dan cepat dalam meningkatkan produktivitas tim, kualitas produk, dan kepuasan pengguna melalui komunikasi terbuka, kerja sama yang kuat, dan adaptasi terhadap perubahan. Aplikasi CIM ini dirancang dengan menggunakan PHP sebagai bahasa pemrograman utama, memastikan aplikasi ini efisien dan dapat bertahan lama dengan biaya rendah. Hasil dari penerapan metode Agile Scrum pada pengembangan aplikasi CIM menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam efektivitas pengelolaan informasi kompetensi mahasiswa, memberikan solusi yang berkelanjutan dan andal bagi institusi pendidikan, hal ini dapat dilihat dari kuesioner penggunaan aplikasi Competency Information Management (CIM) yang menunjukkan hasil dari data SUS adalah 865 yaitu Sangat baik.

This methodology was chosen for its ability to quickly and easily enhance team productivity, product quality, and user satisfaction through open communication, strong collaboration, and adaptability to changes. The CIM application is designed using PHP as the primary programming language, ensuring that the application is efficient and sustainable at a low cost. The results of applying the Agile Scrum methodology in the development of the CIM application have shown a significant improvement in the effectiveness of student competency information management, providing a sustainable and reliable solution for educational institutions. This is evident from the questionnaire results on the use of the Competency Information Management (CIM) application, where the SUS data shows a score of 865, which is categorized as Excellent.
