Uda dan Uni digunakan untuk menyebut remaja pria dan wanita yang menjadi pemenang pemilihan Duta Wisata atau bisa juga di sebut Uda Uni. Dikabupaten Lima Puluh Kota setiap tahunnya diadakan sebuah ajang pemilihan Uda Uni,
dimana pendaftaran calon peserta masih dilakukan secara manual dengan datang ke kantor parawisata setempat. Ini pasti akan menyita banyak waktu, dan sistem penilaiannya juga secara manual tidak menggunakan metode. Metode
TOPSIS menjadi solusi bagi permasalahan tersebut. Metode TOPSIS memberikan beberapa kriteria dengan perhitungan yang terstruktur, sehingga dapat Menghasilkan sebuah alternative solusi untuk menentukan pemenang uda uni Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota. Hasil dari penelitian ini menggunakan 25 data peserta dimana nilai minimum yang diperoleh yaitu 60 dan nilai maksimum yaitu 90. hasil penelitian ini juga berupa sistem informasi yang dibuat merupakan perwujudan dari kebutuhan sistem yang berjalan menjadi sistem usulan yang dirancang untuk memudahkan calon peserta dalam mendaftar tanpa harus ke kantor Dinas Parawisata, dan memudahkan juri dalam menentukan pemenang
