The purpose of this study is to create a decision support system in determining the best employees at PT Santosa Utama Lestari Sidrap Unit using the SMART (Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique) method. So far, the performance appraisal at PT Santosa Utama Lestari Sidrap Unit does not yet have definite criteria, so the results obtained are not optimal, and the assessors also have difficulty managing the assessment data because it takes a long time to recapitulate the results of the assessment which is still done manually. The result of this research is a web-based decision support system that is made based on the needs of the current system into a system that makes it easier for assessors to determine the best employees. The results of the calculation of the SMART method, namely the highest value is Muh. Yasir Arsyad with a value of 0.90875 and the results of the Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) test by testing alternative data resulted in an error value of 0.019% which indicates the results are accurate.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk membuat sebuah sistem pendukung keputusan dalam penentuan karyawan terbaik pada PT Santosa Utama Lestari Unit Sidrap dengan menggunakan metode SMART (Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique). Selama ini
penilaian kinerja di PT Santosa Utama Lestari Sidrap Unit belum memiliki kriteria yang pasti, sehingga hasil nilai yang didapat belum optimal, dan juga penilai kesulitan
mengelola data penilaian dikarenakan membutuhkan waktu yang cukup lama untuk merekapitulasi hasil penilaian yang masih dilakukan secara manual. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sistem pendukung keputusan berbasis web yang dibuat berdasarkan kebutuhan sistem berjalan menjadi sistem yang memudahkan penilai untuk menentukan karyawan terbaik. Adapun hasil dari perhitungan metode SMART yaitu nilai tertinggi adalah Muh. Yasir Arsyad dengan nilai 0,90875 dan hasil pengujian Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) dengan melakukan pengujian terhadap data alternatif menghasilkan nilai error sebesar 0,019% yang menandakan hasil tersebut akurat.
