Abstract
Air Preheater Jenis Ljungstrom Tri-Sector digunakan pada PLTU Banten 3 Lontar POMU Unit 1, fungsi Air Preheater ini untuk memanaskan udara pembakaran di dalam Boiler dengan memanfaatkan Flue Gas pembakaran dari Boiler. Air Preheater juga berfungsi untuk menurunkan Temperatur Flue Gas pembakaran dari Boiler agar tidak mencemari lingkungan. Penggunaan Air Preheater 1A & 1B di PLTU Banten 3 Lontar POMU dipakai secara kontinyu selama bertahun-tahun, hal ini akan mempengaruhi efektivitas dari Air Preheater meskipun sudah dilakukan pemeliharaan. Untuk memperbaiki agar efektivitas Air Preheater tetap tinggi maka perlu dilakukan Overhaul. Kegiatan yang dilakukan pada saat Overhaul yaitu Pembersihan dan Penggantian Elemen. Dari data operasi dapat dikaji mengenai kegiatan Overhaul terhadap efektivitas Air Preheater pada beban puncak. Kegiatan Overhaul mempengaruhi efektivitas Air Preheater. Dari data analisa yang didapat bahwa nilai efektivitas (ϵ) sebelum Overhaul sebesar 0,89 dan nilai efektivitas (ϵ) sesudah Overhaul sebesar 0,957. Pada unit 1B nilai efektivitas (ϵ) sebelum Overhaul sebesar 0,898 dan nilai efektivitas (ϵ) sesudah Overhaul sebesar 0,938. Setelah dilakukan Overhaul terjadi peningkatan efektivitas Air Preheater 1A & 1B di PLTU Banten 3 Lontar POMU.
Air Preheater type Ljungstrom Trisector is used in PLTU Banten 3 Lontar POMU unit 1A & 1B, the function of the Air Preheater is to heat the combustion air in the Boiler by utilizing the combustion Flue Gas from the boiler. The Air Preheater also functions to reduce the Flue Gas temperature of the combustion from the Boiler so as not to pollute the environment. The use of Air Preheater 1A & 1B in PLTU Banten 3 Lontar POMU has been used continuously for many years, this will affect the effectiveness of the Air Preheater even after maintenance. To improve the effectiveness of the Air Preheater, it is necessary to overhaul it. Activities carried out during the Overhaul were cleaning and replacing elements. From the operating data, it can be studied about the Overhaul activity on the effectiveness of the Air Preheater with a peak load. Overhaul activities affect the effectiveness of the Air Preheater. From the analysis data obtained that the effectiveness value (ϵ) of Air Preheater 1A & 1B in PLTU Banten 3 Lontar in unit 1A, the effectiveness value (ϵ) before the Overhaul was 0.89 and the effectiveness value(ϵ) after the Overhaul was 0.957. In Unit 1B the effectiveness value (ϵ) before the Overhaul is 0.898 and the effectiveness value (ϵ) after the Overhaul is 0.938. After the Overhaul, there was an increase in the effectiveness of Air Preheater 1A & 1B at PLTU Banten 3 Lontar POMU.
