Abstract

Dalam bidang konstruksi, perhitungan volume material yang akurat sangat penting untuk menjamin efisiensi biaya dan meningkatkan daya saing dalam proses tender proyek. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan material capping beam pada Proyek Penanganan Tower Kritis di Jalur Transmisi 275 kV Padang Sidempuan – Payakumbuh untuk Tower LBS 61. Perhitungan volume dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan dua metode, yaitu metode konvensional dan Building Information Modeling (BIM) menggunakan Software Tekla Structure. Hasil perhitungan volume dari kedua metode tersebut kemudian dibandingkan untuk mengetahui estimasi biaya kebutuhan material capping beam terhadap biaya realisasi proyek, guna menentukan metode yang lebih efisien berdasarkan biaya yang telah direalisasikan dalam proyek. Adapun hasil perbandingan perhitungan volume material beton, besi, baja kanal UNP, pelat filler, dan bekisting dengan metode konvensional dan Building Information Modeling (BIM) secara berturut – turut yaitu 0%, 7,919%, 1,225%, 0% dan -0,200%. Hasil perbandingan biaya material capping beam dengan metode konvensional terhadap biaya realisasi proyek dan metode Building Information Modeling (BIM) terhadap biaya realisasi proyek secara berturut – turut yaitu 4,423% dan 6,421%.

In the construction field, accurate calculation of material volume is essential to guarantee cost efficiency and increase competitiveness in the project tender process. This study aims to identify the need for capping beam materials in the Critical Tower Handling Project on the 275 kV Padang Sidempuan – Payakumbuh Transmission Line for Tower LBS 61. The volume calculation in this study was carried out using two methods, namely the conventional method and Building Information Modeling (BIM) using Tekla Structure Software. The results of the volume calculation of the two methods are then compared to determine the estimated cost of capping beam material needs to the project realization cost, in order to determine a more efficient method based on the costs that have been realized in the project. The results of the comparison of the calculation of the volume of concrete, iron, UNP canal steel, filler plates, and formwork with conventional methods and Building Information Modeling (BIM) are 0%, 7.919%, 1.225%, 0% and -0.200% respectively. The results of the comparison of the cost of capping beam materials with the conventional method to the project realization cost and the Building Information Modeling (BIM) method to the project realization cost, respectively, are 4,423% and 6,421%.
