Abstract

Era digital telah membawa transformasi siginifikan dalam pendidikan, namun di SDIT Al – Jawahir Medan pemanfaatan teknologi pembelajaran masih terbatas. Proses pengumpulan tugas masih dilakukan secara konvensional dengan media kertas dan WhatsApp. Metode ini berisiko kehilangan data, menyulitkan evaluasi, serta belum menyediakan media interaktif yang sesuai untuk mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS). Selain itu, orang tua juga mengalami keterbatasan dalam memantau kemajuan akademik secara real-time. Berangkat dari permasalahan tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangan sistem e-learning berbasis gamifikasi menggunakan platform Moodle pada mata pelajaran IPAS kelas V, selaras dengan Kurikulum Merdeka. Pengembangan dilakukan melalui Research and Development (R&D) menggunakan model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Sistem yang dirancang memfasilitasi distribusi tugas, penyimpanan data pembelajaran secara sistematis, serta integrasi elemen gamifikasi berupa poin, lencana, level dan papan peringkat. Hasil pengujian Black Box dengan teknik Equivalence Partitioning menunjukkan seluruh fitur berfungsi dengan baik (100%). Uji penerimaan pengguna (User Acceptance Testing) melibatkan orang tua, guru dan siswa, dengan hasil tingkat kepuasan masing-masing sebesar 96,14% (sangat baik), 78,66% (baik) dan 97,28% (sangat baik). Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa sistem e-learning berbasis gamifikasi yang dikembangkan efektif meningkatkan motivasi keterlibatan siswa, mempermudah pengelolaan tugas, serta mendukung pemantauan orang tua secara real-time sehingga dapat menjadi sarana pembelajaran digital yang interaktif dan efektif di tingkat sekolah dasar.

The digital era has brought significant transformations in education, but at SDIT Al-Jawahir Medan, the use of learning technology remains limited. Assignment submissions are still conducted conventionally using paper and WhatsApp. This method carries the risk of data loss, complicates evaluation, and does not yet provide appropriate interactive media for Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) subjects. Furthermore, parents also face challenges in monitoring academic progress in real time. Based on these challenges, this study aims to develop a gamification-based e-learning system using the Moodle platform for fifth-grade IPAS, in line with the Independent Curriculum. The development was carried out through a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The designed system facilitates assignment distribution, systematic storage of learning data and the integration of gamification elements including points, badges, levels and leaderboards. Black box testing using the Equivalence Partitioning technique showed that all features functioned correctly (100%). User Acceptance Testing (UAT) involving parents, teachers and students indicated high levels of satisfaction, with scores of 96,14% (very good) for parents, 78,66% (good) for teachers and 97,28% (very good) for students. These results demonstrate that the developed gamification-based e-learning system effectively enhances student motivation and engagement, facilitates assignment management and supports real-time parental monitoring, making it an interactive and effective digital learning tool at the elementary school level.
