Kabupaten Sumba Barat Daya atau juga biasa disingkat SBD merupakan salah satu kabupaten dengan ibukotanya yang bernama Tambolaka, dimana letak kabupaten ini berada dipulau Sumba dan juga temasuk dalam bagian Propinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur. Di kabupaten ini, terdapat beranekaragam objek wisata yang masih terjaga kelestariannya dan memiliki keunikan tersendiri bagi wisatawan yang berkunjung ke lokasi objek-objek wisata tersebut berada.Sebagian besar wilayah Kabupaten Sumba Barat Daya memiliki potensi objek wisata yang dapat dipromosikan sebagai destinasi wisata karna keunikan akan unsur alam, budaya dan baharinya. Kondisi alam sekitarjuga menunjang panorama setiap objek wisata karena masih berupa bentangan bukit- bukit luas, aliran sungai maupun danau, hutan-hutan tropis, dan berbagai corak flora dan fauna liar. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti akan mencari rute terpendek ke objek wisata dengan menggunakan algoritma A-Star dengan tujuan untuk memberikan informasi rute terpendek kepada wisatawan agar mempermudah wisatawan untuk mengakses objek wisata di Kabupaten Sumba Barat Daya.

In this study, researchers will find the shortest route to a tourist attraction using the A-star algorithm with the aim of providing the shortest route information to tourists in order to make it easier for tourists to access tourist objects in Southwest Sumba Regency.
