SMAN 1 Bangko is a school that implements the process of determining the candidate for student council (OSIS) president through the fit and proper test stage. However, the problem is that there is no accurate method of solving the problem. Because, the appraisers still have to discuss so that it can trigger debate and take a long time. For the assessment criteria, each of them has weight, namely, the last report card score is 20%, the basic leadership training certificate value is 30%, the interview is 40% and the indisciplinary points are 10%. Therefore, I offer a solution by using one of the Decision Support System (SPK) methods, namely the TOPSIS method. The TOPSIS method is one of the methods used to solve Multi Atribute Decision Making (MADM) problems. The main concept of TOPSIS is that the best preferred alternative has the shortest distance from the positive ideal solution and has the farthest distance from the negative ideal solution. The result obtained was the election of 2 candidates pair with the highest scores which then advanced to the e-voting stage. The conclusion is that the TOPSIS method is used to calculate the accumulated scores obtained by the candidates according to the predetermined weight of the criteria and the selected as candidates are the 2 pairs with the highest scores.

SMAN 1 Bangko merupakan sekolah yang menerapkan proses penentuan calon ketua OSIS nya melalui tahap fit and proper test. Tetapi, yang menjadi permasalahannya adalah belum adanya metode pemecahan masalah yang akurat. Sebab, para penilai masih harus berdiskusi sehingga dapat memicu perdebatan dan memakan waktu yang lama. Untuk kriteria penilaiannya masingmasing memiliki bobot yaitu, nilai rapor terakhir 20%, nilai sertifikat Latihan Dasar Kepemimpinan 30%, Wawancara 40% dan poin indisipliner 10%. Maka dari itu, saya menawarkan solusi dengan menggunakan salah satu metode Sistem Pendukung Keputusan (SPK) yaitu metode TOPSIS. Metode TOPSIS merupakan salah satu metode yang digunakan untuk menyelesaikan masalah Multi Atribute Decision Making (MADM). Konsep utama TOPSIS adalah alternatif preferensi terbaik memiliki jarak terpendek dari solusi ideal positif dan memiliki jarak terjauh dari solusi ideal negatif. Hasil yang didapat adalah terpilihnya 2 paslon dengan nilai tertinggi yang kemudian maju ketahap e-voting. Kesimpulannya adalah metode TOPSIS digunakan untuk menghitung akumulasi nilai yang didapat para kandidat sesuai dengan bobot kriteria yang telah ditentukan dan yang terpilih sebagai calon adalah 2 pasangan dengan nilai tertinggi.
