Teacher promotions are carried out to select teachers who deserve a promotion or class. At the Office of Education Branch of the Bener Meriah Regional Office of Aceh Province, the determination of teacher promotions is still done manually in collecting files and calculating them, so it takes time and there is a risk of human error. In order not
to cause information confusion, precise and computerized calculations are needed. The process of processing data and finding information effectively requires a decision support system technique. The implementation of the Promethee method in the information system for determining teacher promotion at the senior high school level at the Bener Meriah Regional Education Office, Aceh Province, was carried out to simplify and speed up the process of determining teacher promotion. The promethee method has 8 stages of calculation, namely determining alternatives, criteria, weighting criteria, calculating preference values, preference indexes, leaving flow, entering flow and net flow. The result is that there are rankings of 1 to 4 teachers who deserve priority for promotion. Thus, the implementation of the Promethee method in the Information System for Determining High School Level Teacher Promotions at the Education Office Branch of the Bener Meriah Region Education Office, Aceh Province provides an effective and efficient solution in the process of determining teacher promotions and is a positive step to improve the quality of education and ensure that every teachers get proper and fair promotion.

Kenaikan pangkat guru dilakukan untuk menyeleksi guru yang layak mendapatkan kenaikan pangkat atau golongan. Pada Dinas Pendidikan Cabang Dinas Wilayah Bener Meriah Provinsi Aceh penentuan kenaikan pangkat guru masih dilakukan secara manual dalam untuk pengumpulan file dan perhitungannya sehingga membutuhkan waktu dan berisiko terjadi kesalahan manusia. Agar tidak menimbulkan kerancuan informasi di butuhkan perhitungan yang tepat dan terkomputerisasi. Proses pengolahan data dan pencarian informasi secara efektif memerlukan Teknik system pendukung keputusan. Implementasi metode Promethee pada sistem informasi Penentuan Kenaikan Pangkat Guru Tingkat SMA di Dinas Pendidikan Cabang Dinas Wilayah Bener Meriah Provinsi Aceh dilakukan untuk mempermudah dan mempercepat proses penentuan kenaikan pangkat guru. Metode promethee memiliki 8 tahapan perhitungan yaitu menentukan alternatif, kriteria, bobot kriteria, menghitung nilai preferensi, indexs preferensi, leaving flow, entering flow dan net flow. Hasilnya adalah terdapat ranking 1 sampai 4 guru yang layak di prioritaskan untuk kenaikan pangkat. Dengan demikian, implementasi metode Promethee pada Sistem Informasi Penentuan Kenaikan Pangkat Guru Tingkat SMA Di Dinas Pendidikan Cabang Dinas Pendidikan Wilayah Bener Meriah Provinsi Aceh memberikan solusi yang efektif dan efisien dalam proses penentuan kenaikan pangkat guru dan merupakan Langkah positif untuk meningkatkan kualitas Pendidikan dan memastikan bahwa setiap guru memperoleh kenaikan pangkat yang layak dan adil.
