Abstract
Generator berperan penting dalam sistem pembangkit ketenagalistrikan dalam menyalurkan energi listrik, sehingga dibutuhkan sistem proteksi yang dapat mengamankan generator ketika terjadi gangguan hubung singkat, salah satunya yaitu relay differensial yang dapat mengatasi gangguan hubung singkat tanpa waktu tunda. Untuk meningkatkan keandalan dari relay differensial generator perlu dilakukan evaluasi kinerja relay sehingga dapat dikatakan relay bekerja ketika gangguan hubung singkat. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif komparatif dengan membandingkan hasil pengujian yang sudah dilakukan, setting manufacture, hasil perhitungan, dan simulasi kinerja relay menggunakan software ETAP. Dimana hasil pengujian dan perhitungan dibandingkan dengan setting calculation manufacture. Data pengujian di dapat pada saat pengujian major inspection tahun 2018 dan turbine inspection tahun 2021. Hasil pengujian pada tahun 2018 dan tahun 2021 di dapatkan hasil perbandingan pada pengukuran pickup current sebesar 0 %. Untuk pengukuran time pickup di dapatkan perbandingan sebesar 0,01 s - 0,02 s. Sedangkan perbandingan antara perhitungan dan calculation manufacture terdapat perbedaan sebesar 0,06 A untuk pickup current dan slope sebesar 10 %, karena pada perhitungan tidak mencantumkan faktor-faktor ketentuan dari calculation manufacture. Kemudian untuk simulasi menggunakan software ETAP dapat dikatakan relay bekerja ketika gangguan di dalam daerah proteksi dan tidak bekerja ketika gangguan di luar daerah proteksi.
Generators play an important role in the electricity generation system in distributing electrical energy, so a protection system is needed that can secure the generator when a short circuit occurs, one of which is a differential relay that can overcome short circuit disturbances without delay. To improve the reliability of the differential generator relay, it is necessary to evaluate the performance of the relay so that it can be said that the relay works when there is a short circuit. This study uses a comparative quantitative method by comparing the results of tests that have been carried out, manufacture settings, calculation results, and simulation of relay performance using ETAP software. Where the test results and calculations are compared with the manufacture calculation settings. Test data obtained during major inspection testing in 2018 and turbine inspection in 2021. Test results in 2018 and 2021 obtained comparison results on pickup current measurements of 0%. For the measurement of pickup time, a comparison of 0.01 s - 0.02 s is obtained. While the comparison between the calculation and the manufacture calculation, there is a difference of 0.06 A for the pickup current and a slope of 10%, because the calculation does not include the provisions of the manufacture calculation. Then for the simulation using ETAP software, it can be said that the relay works when the disturbance is in the protection area and does not work when the disturbance is outside the protection area.
