Perusahaan PLN yang mengendalikan sistem operasi jaringan distribusi tenaga listrik memiliki sesuatu peralatan sistem operasi jaringan menggunakan LBS dan Recloser yang dikontrol secara operasi RTU ( Remote Terminal Unit ) dengan modul di dalam panel kubikel atau box kontrol yang berfungsi untuk mengatur switching (Open/Close) jaringan listrik 20KV. Di dalam isi kubikel LBS dan Recloser terdapat sebuah baterai DC yang berfungsi sebagai power supply untuk mengaktifkan sistem modul operator kontrol LBS dan Recloser. Pada panel kubikel LBS dan Recloser yang terpasang di tiang jaringan telah terjadi kasus kriminal yaitu pencurian sebuah baterai di dalam panel kubikel tersebut dengan modus membobol paksa pintu panel box kontrol. Pada penelitian kasus pencurian baterai dari pihak PLN untuk mengamankan baterai di dalam panel kubikel LBS dan Recloser sejauh ini hanya mengunci dan meninggikan posisi panel kubikel saja maka diperlukan sebuah alat proteksi tambahan untuk mengamankan baterai di dalam panel kubikel LBS dan Recloser. Pada alat tambahan ini berupa alat proteksi baterai yang di rancang dapat bekerja jika panel kubikel LBS atau recloser di buka maka alat proteksi baterai akan otomatis menghubungi nomor telepon yang sudah tersetting di aplikasi GPS360, bertujuan untuk mengungkap seseorang yang membuka panel kubikel tersebut melalui suara telefon dan melalui aplikasi dapat mengetahui lokasi baterai.

In this additional tool in the form of a battery protection device that is designed to work if the LBS cubicle panel or recloser is opened, the battery protection device will automatically dial the phone number that has been set in the GPS360 application, aiming to reveal someone who opened the cubicle panel via telephone voice and through the application can find out the location of the battery.
