Abstract
PLTDG Pesanggaran merupakan salah satu pembangkit milik PT.Indonesia Power yang menggunakan 2 bahan bakar yakni gas dan diesel. Pembangkit listrik yang beroperasi secara kontinu memerlukan performa yang baik agar handal, aman dan memiliki nilai ekonomis yang baik dalam melakukan penyerapan bahan bakar. Salah satu indikator yang sering menjadi gambaran mengenai performa mesin yakni pemakaian bahan bakar spesifik (SFC dan SGC) dan heat rate. Monitoring perfoma mesin dapat dilakukan secara berkala dengan melakukan performance test. Pada penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh variasi beban terhadap konsumsi bahan bakar unit 3 dan unit 7 PLTDG di PT.Indonesia Power Pesanggaran. Metode analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif. Spesific Fuel Consumption dan Spesific Gas Consumption terendah terjadi pada beban 100% sebesar 0,240 liter/kWh dan 0,009 MMbtu/kWh unit 3 dan pada unit 7 sebesar 0,247 liter/kWh dan 0,008 MMbtu/kWh sesudah overhaul 36000 jam. Heat Rate paling rendah saat menggunakan bahan bakar gas (LNG) sebesar 2028,427 kCal/liter di unit 7 terjadi saat sesudah overhaul 36000 jam. Efisiensi termal tertinggi pada saat menggunakan bahan bakar diesel sebesar 39,81% saat sesudah overhaul 36000 jam di unit 3 PLTDG, sedangkan efisiensi termal tertinggi saat menggunakan bahan bakar gas (LNG) sebesar 42,4% saat sesudah overhaul 36000 jam di unit 7 PLTDG. Penggunaan bahan bakar gas (LNG) lebih bagus dibandingkan bahan bakar diesel (HSD).
PLTDG Pesanggaran is one of the power plants owned by PT. Indonesia Power uses 2 fuels, namely gas and diesel. Power plants that operate continuously require good performance to be reliable, safe, and have good economic value in absorbing fuel. One of the indicators that are often a picture of engine performance is the use of specific fuels (SFC and SGC) and heat rate. Monitoring of engine performance can be done periodically by performing a performance test. This study analyzes the effect of load variations on fuel consumption for units 3 and 7 of PLTDG at PT.Indonesia Power Pesanggaran. The method of data analysis in this study used descriptive quantitative methods. The lowest specific fuel consumption and specific gas consumption occurred at 100% load of 0.240 liter/kWh and 0.008 MMbtu/kWh unit 3 and unit 7 at 0.247 liter/kWh and 0.008 MMbtu/kWh after 36000 hours of an overhaul. The lowest heat rate when using gas fuel (LNG) of 2028.427 kCal/liter in unit 7 occurred after 36000 hours of the overhaul. The highest thermal efficiency when using diesel fuel is 39.81% after the overhaul of 36000 hours in unit 3 PLTDG, while the highest thermal efficiency when using gas fuel (LNG) is 42.4% after the overhaul of 36000 hours in unit 7 PLTDG. The use of gas fuel (LNG) is better than diesel fuel (HSD).
