Keandalan sistem tenaga listrik dapat dilihat dari kontinuitas pelayanan daya listrik. Meskipun keandalan sistem energi dapat didefinisikan menjadi kemampuan sistem untuk menyediakan daya yang kualitasnya memuaskan. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk menganalisis hasil perhitungan nilai indeks keandalan SAIDI, SAIFI dan CAIDI dan hasil perbandingan nilai indeks keandalan yang didapat melalui Metode Section Tecnique dengan SPLN 86-2 : 1986. Dampak dari kendala individual perlengkapan secara sistematis diidentifikasikan dengan menganalisis apa yang terjadi pada sistem bila kendala perlengkapan terpasang mengalami gangguan. Setiap kegagalan perlengkapan dianalisis dari seluruh titik beban. Pada penelitian ini didapatkan hasil perhitungan index keandalan system distribusi ULP Kota Barat yang berada di dalam lingkup organisasi PT PLN (PERSERO) UP3 PEKANBARU. Dengan menggunakan metode Section Technique didapatkan nilai SAIDI yaitu sebesar 24,339 jam/tahun, nilai SAIFI sebesar 8,1127 kali/tahun dan yang terakhir dan nilai CAIDI sebesar 6 jam/gangguan.

The reliability of the electric power system can be seen from the continuity of electric power service. Although the reliability of an energy system can be defined as the ability of the system to provide power of satisfactory quality. The purpose of this study is to analyze the results of the calculation of the reliability index values of SAIDI, SAIFI and CAIDI and the results of the comparison of the reliability index values obtained through the Section Technique Method with SPLN 86-2: 1986. The impact of individual equipment constraints is systematically identified by analyzing what happened. on the system if there is a problem with the installed equipment. Every equipment failure is analyzed from all load points. In this study, the results of the calculation of the reliability index of the West City ULP distribution system were found within the organizational scope of PT PLN (PERSERO) UP3 PEKANBARU. By using the Section Technique method, the SAIDI value is 24,339 hours/year, the SAIFI value is 8.1127 times/year and the last and the CAIDI value is 6 hours/interference.
