Abstract
Baterai sangat penting untuk gardu induk karena berfungsi sebagai sumber arus DC. dapat memperpanjang umur baterai dengan charger. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sistem dan kapasitas baterai gardu induk muara enim. Dalam penelitian ini, metode penelitian secara langsung dan wawancara digunakan, selain metode observasi. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian setelah baterai dilakukan proses pengujian kapasitas tegangan baterai yang dilakukan selama 5 jam, didapatkan persamaan regresi linear yang digunakan untuk memprediksi atau memperkirakan waktu maksimum baterai untuk melayani beban-beban tersebut. Hasil perhitungan dengan metode regresi linear menyatakan bahwa baterai mampu melayani beban-beban tersebut selama 10 Jam. Terdapat sedikit perbedaan dengan referensi baterai dimana mampu melayani bebanbeban DC selama 5 Jam, hal tersebut dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, antara lain pada perhitungan perkiraan dengan metode regresi linier dipengaruhi oleh total tegangan awal baterai serta penurunan total tegangan selama baterai dalam kondisi dibebani, Faktor penyebab turunnya kapasitas adalah disebabkan oleh pengotoran elektrolit (contaminated), permukaan cairan elektrolit terlalu rendah, Dalam hal ini hubungan rangkaian seri juga sangat berpengaruh teradap kerusakan pada baterai karena adanya keterkaitan antara sel satu dengan sel lain nya.
Batteries are very important for substations because they function as a DC current source. Can extend the life of the battery with a charger. This research aims to determine the system and battery capacity of the Muara Enim substation. In this research, direct research methods and interviews were used, in addition to observation methods. Based on the test results after the battery was carried out, the battery voltage capacity testing process was carried out for 5 hours, a linear regression equation was obtained which was used to predict or estimate the maximum time for the battery to serve these loads. The results of calculations using the linear regression method state that the battery is capable of serving these loads for 10 hours. There is a slight difference with the reference battery which is capable of serving DC loads for 5 hours. This is influenced by several factors, including the estimated calculation using the linear regression method which is influenced by the total initial voltage of the battery and the decrease in total voltage while the battery is under load. Factors the cause of the decrease in capacity is caused by contamination of the electrolyte, the electrolyte liquid level is too low. In this case, the series connection also has a big impact on damage to the battery because of the connection between one cell and another cell.
