Abstract

Polymer insulators mixed with coal fly ash materials are needed to test the characteristics
of dielectrics during high temperature conditions to prove reliability in the use of power
grids. Therefore, this study was carried out to determine the characteristics of dielectric
with high temperature against polymer insulators made of coal fly ash fillers, especially
in the areas of Probolinggo, Bekasi, Suralaya and pare-bitter. The method used in this
study is Regression polynomial kuadrats, sampling is carried out in four areas. From the
results of the study taken using an additional filler of 10% to 80% and after the research
was carried out, it was known that the results of penetration voltage, capacitance, volume
resistance and surface resistance decreased because it was affected by temperature.
