Abstract

Class often use the lab as delivery of material that is better than just a theory. In carrying out the practicum, required a laboratory that provides equipment or in this case is a computer lab. To ensure comfort in carrying out the practical security and saving electrical power source must be considered properly. This study will help find out who uses the laboratory and also recapitulated the attendance as well as setting the power source. Prototype built consisting of a fingerprint sensor as a detector of anyone who uses the laboratory, the motion sensor to detect if there is activity in the laboratory and will govern the use of electric energy, as well as the use Arduino as the core of the prototype. By building a prototype is expected to help overcome the problems of security and the use of electricity in a university laboratory.
