Abstract
Isolator polimer sering digunakan di berbagai aplikasi industri dan listrik karena sifatnya yang tahan terhadap suhu tinggi, ketahanan terhadap korona, dan isolasi listrik yang baik, tidak jarang isolator polimer sering digunakan sebagai isolator dan di tempatkan di pesisir pantai yang memiliki kadar polutan garam yang sangat tinggi dimana polutan sangat memengaruhi tahanan permukaan isolator yang dapat menyebabkan kegagalan isolasi dan terjadi peningkatan kebocoran arus. Oleh karena itu untuk meningkatkan kinerja isolator polimer agar mengatasi kebocoran arus pada isolator polimer, pada penelitian dilakukan pencampuran dengan material fly ash batu bara sebagai filler dalam pembuatan isolator polimer karet silikon. Pada penelitian ini di peroleh hasil arus bocor pada polutan kabut garam komposisi 10% arus bocor sebesar 86,5 mA, 20% arus bocor sebesar 80,1 mA, 30% arus bocor sebesar 74,8 mA, 40% arus bocor sebesar 70,5 mA, 50% arus bocor sebesar 63,1 mA, 60% arus bocor sebesar 87,2 mA, 70% arus bocor sebesar 83,1 mA, dan 80% arus bocor sebesar 89,7 mA. Dan nilai optimasi pada pencampuran karet silikon dan fly ash batu bara terjadi di komposisi paling optimal di campuran 0,440014 atau sebesar 44,0014% antara karet silikon dan fly ash batu bara.
Polymer insulators are often used in a variety of industrial and electrical applications because of their high temperature resistance, corona resistance, and good electrical insulation, it is not uncommon for polymer insulators to be used as insulators and placed on coasts that have very high levels of salt pollutants where pollutants greatly affect the surface resistance of the insulator which can cause insulation failure and an increase in current leakage. Therefore, to improve the performance of polymer insulators to overcome current leakage in polymer insulators, the study was mixed with coal fly ash material as a filler in the manufacture of silicone rubber polymer insulators. In this study, the results of leakage current in the composition of salt mist pollutants are 10% leakage current of 86.5 mA, 20% leakage current of 80.1 mA, 30% leakage current of 74.8 mA, 40% leakage current of 70.5 mA, 50% leakage current of 63.1 mA, 60% leakage current of 87.2 mA, 70% leakage current of 83.1 mA, and 80% leakage current of 89.7 mA. And the optimization value in the mixing of silicone rubber and coal fly ash occurs in the most optimal composition in the mixture or by 44.0014% between silicone rubber and coal 0,440014 fly ash.
