Perkembangan teknologi dan informasi telah memberi dampak ke berbagai bidang, tidak terkecuali pada urusan inventaris PT. PLN (Persero) Area Mojokerto. Pengelolaan Gudang matrial pada PT. PLN (Persero) Area Mojokerto saat ini masih belum tersistem dengan baik, yaitu masih stock barang menggunakan spreadsheet yang dikirimkan ke vendor setiap hari dan proses reservasi dan retur masih menggunakan system konfensional. Permasalahan yang dihadapi diantaranya vendor sulit mencari informasi akan stock matrial pada Gudang karena tidak ada system yang memberikan informasi stock matrial secara update. Selain itu vendor juga sulit untuk melakukan reservasi / retur matrial ke Gudang karena proses reservasi / retur dilakukan dengan cara mengisi form secara manual. Berbagai macam permasalahan yang ditemukan dalam pengelolan gudang menjadi pokok dibutuhkannya pembuatan sistem informasi ini. Sistem Informasi Manajemen Gudang berbasis WEB pada PT. PLN (Persero) Area Mojokerto dibuat dengan berbasis web menggunakan metode UCD (User Centered Design). Bahasa pemrograman yang digunakan yaitu PHP dan database yang digunakan yaitu MySQL. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dan studi kepustakaan. Pengimplementasian sistem informasi manajemen gudang ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas dari proses pengelolaan Matrial PT. PLN (Persero) Area Mojokerto menjadi lebih cepat dan efisien.

Various kinds of problems found in warehouse management are the main requirements for making this information system. WEB-based Warehouse Management Information System at PT. PLN (Persero) Area Mojokerto is made based on the web using the UCD (User Centered Design) method. The programming language used is PHP and the database used is MySQL. Data collection is done by means of observation, interviews, and literature study. The implementation of this warehouse management information system is expected to improve the quality of the inventory process of PT. PLN (Persero) Area Mojokerto is faster and more efficient.
