Abstract

Sambaran petir merupakan ancaman dalam sistem tenaga listrik karena dapat menyebabkan terganggunya kontinuitas penyaluran tenaga listrik. Pada SUTT 150 kV Salakbaru – Bogorbaru + Cibadakbaru terjadi gangguan saluran transmisi yang disebabkan oleh petir dengan arus puncak petir 19 kA dan 40 kA. Hasil investigasi pasca gangguan pada T.170 ditemukan anomali pada peralatan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui proteksi petir pada saluran transmisi dengan melakukan analisa daerah proteksi petir menggunakan metode rolling sphere dan shielding angle, perbaikan grounding system dengan metode counterpoise, dan simulasi menggunakan software ATP Draw. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian analisa menggunakan metode rolling sphere didapatkan daerah perlindungan yang menyentuh tanah dan kawat tanah tanpa mengenai daerah proteksi masih terpenuhi. Nilai shielding angle pada T.170 sebesar 10.75°, berdasarkan SPLN T5.014-1:2021 nilai tersebut masih sesuai standar. Grounding system pada T.170 dilakukan perbaikan tahanan pentanahan pada Leg C menggunakan metode counterpoise didapatkan nilai perhitungan 4.919Ω. Sedangkan hasil pengukuran sebesar 5.57Ω, berdasarkan SPLN T.5.012:2020 nilai tersebut masih sesuai standar. Simulasi menggunakan software ATP Draw dengan arus puncak petir 19 kA dan 40 kA, didapatkan hasil dengan arus puncak 19 kA tegangan impuls pada T.170 sebesar 1.300 kV, sedangkan arus puncak 40 kA tegangan impuls yang sampai pada peralatan sebesar 1.500 kV.

Lightning strikes are a threat to the power system because they can disrupt the continuity of power transmission. In the 150 kV transmission line from Salakbaru - Bogorbaru + Cibadakbaru, a transmission line disturbance was caused by lightning with peak currents of 19 kA and 40 kA. Post-disturbance investigation at T.170 found anomalies in the equipment. This research was conducted to evaluate lightning protection on the transmission line by analyzing the lightning protection area using the rolling sphere and shielding angle methods, improving the grounding system with the counterpoise method, and simulating using ATP Draw software. Based on the research, the rolling sphere method analysis showed that the protection area touching the ground and the ground wire without affecting the protection area was still fulfilled. The shielding angle at T.170 was 10.75°, which according to SPLN T5.014-1:2021, meets the standard. The grounding system at T.170 was improved by enhancing the grounding resistance at Leg C using the counterpoise method, resulting in a calculated value of 4.919Ω. The measured value was 5.57Ω, which according to SPLN T.5.012:2020, meets the standard. Simulation using ATP Draw software with peak lightning currents of 19 kA and 40 kA showed that at 19 kA, the impulse voltage at T.170 was 1.300 kV, and at 40 kA, the impulse voltage reaching the equipment was 1.500 kV.
