Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Gas merupakan sistem pembangkit listrik yang memanfaatkan gas alam sebagai fluida kerjanya. PLTG sendiri memiliki beberapa komponen-komponen utama dan komponen pendukung, seperti turbin gas, kompresor, ruang bakar dan generator serta masih banyak komponen pendukung lainnya. Kondisi komponen-komponen tersebut harus dijaga supaya dapat bekerja secara optimal untuk dapat memproduksi listrik bagi masyarakat.
