Abstract
Upaya dalam meningkatkan keandalan tenaga listrik diantaranya memiliki sistem proteksi yang bersifat andal, sensitif, dan selektif. Pada sistem proteksi yang sudah existing saat ini, masih memungkinkan adanya resiko kegagalan koordinasi proteksi saat terjadinya gangguan hubung singkat. PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Cempaka Putih menemukan permasalahan dimana CT blok yang digunakan di CB (Circuit Breaker) pada gardu distribusi PG149 mengalami keterbatasan rasio CT blok terhadap arus gangguan yang timbul sehingga arus gangguan tidak terbaca oleh CT blok dan mengakibatkan trip di incoming penyulang Makassar. Penelitian ini dapat membantu mengurangi kemungkinan resiko kegagalan koordinasi proteksi dengan melakukan penambahan CT Ring. Berdasarkan arus gangguan hubung singkat disetiap fasanya sebesar 7800 A. Ketika PG 149 hanya memiliki CT Blok CBOG dengan ICT primer 1153,5 A diperoleh ICT < IHB, artinya CT akan jenuh sehingga arus tidak terbaca / terdeteksi oleh CT dan relay tidak akan memicu tripping coil pmt untuk trip dan dapat mengakibatkan trip satu feeder. Ketika PG 149 melakukan penambahan CT Ring yang terpasang di incoming pelanggan atau di keluaran CBOG dengan ICT primer 17.208 A, maka arus gangguan sebesar 7800 A dapat dideteksi karena arus hubung singkat tidak melebihi batas arus jenuh dari CT sehingga akan terbaca ke relay dan tripping coil akan bekerja sehingga trip hanya di PG 149.
Efforts to improve the reliability of electric power include having a reliable, sensitive, and selective protection system. In the existing protection system today, there is still a risk of failure of protection coordination when a short circuit disturbance occurs. PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Cempaka Putih found a problem where the CT block used in the CB (Circuit Breaker) at the PG149 distribution substation experienced a limited ratio of the CT block to the disturbance current that arose so that the disturbance current was not read by the CT block and resulted in a trip at the incoming Makassar feeder. This research can help reduce the risk of protection coordination failure by adding a CT Ring. Based on the short-circuit disturbance current in each phase of 7800 A. When PG 149 only has a CT Block CBOG with a primary ICT of 1153.5 A, ICT < IHB is obtained, meaning that the CT will be saturated so that the current is not read/detected by the CT and the relay will not trigger the tripping coil PMT for the trip and can result in a trip of one feeder. When PG 149 adds a CT Ring installed in the incoming customer or at the output of CBOG with a primary ICT of 17,208 A, then a fault current of 7800 A can be detected because the short circuit current does not exceed the saturation current limit of the CT so that it will be read to the relay and the tripping coil will work so that it trips only in PG 149.
