Untuk mendapatkan kualitas sistem pendistribusian yang optimal pada penyulang GM Situt 1 di PLN Area Singkawang dilakukan perbandingan rugi daya pada sambungan penghantar jaringan tegangan menengah 20 kV antara Parallel Groove dan Live Line Connector (LLC). Dapat di analisa dari hasil perbandingan antara kedua sambungan tersebut yang di ukur pada tiang LBS aneka sari, LBS Kirdasana dan LBS SSA pada penyulang GM Situt 1 di mana pengukuran ini dilakukan karena pada penyulang GM Situt 1 terdapat 6 titik perbaikan/pemeliharan untuk mengetahui hasil perbandingan. Analisa yang diperoleh mendapatkan kesimpulan bahwa pengukuran pada titik LBS SSA untuk Parallel Groove arus sebesar 68,1 A tegangan sebesar 18,719 kV dan cos Ø sebesar 0,911. Sedangkan pengukuran setelah menggunakan sambungan Live Line Connector (LLC) pada LBS yang sama didapat nilai arus sebesar 61,7 A, tegangan sebesar 18,987 kV dan cos Ø sebesar 0,950. Kedua sambungan ini memiliki rugi-rugi daya yang di hasilkan Parallel Groove sebesar 15,1142 kW dan Live Line Connector (LLC) sebesar 12,4967 kW untuk hasil pengukuran pada titik tiang LBS SSA, Kirdasana dan Aneka Sari. Selisih rugi daya dari hasil keseluruhan perbandingan kedua sambungan tersebut sebesar 2,6175 kW.
