Abstract

One factor affecting plant production, growth, and development is nutrition, including the element nitrogen, which plays a role in photosynthesis in the production of chlorophyll or green leaf substance. A nutrient shortage, which can be caused by a lack of nutrients other than nitrogen, such as iron, magnesium, or manganese, is one of the reasons for yellow leaves. Plant yellowing can be caused by various factors, including pH imbalance, watering issues, diseases and pests, and environmental conditions like intense sunlight, freezing temperatures, or pollution. A plant can determine nitrogen content, and Leaf Color Chart technology can be used. However, because implementing LCC requires a lot of time and energy and may cause a difference in user perception, it still needs to be more effective. The image processing process in leaf color detection produces the mean value and standard deviation of the three primary color components, red, green, and blue. These are then used as input values in a backpropagation algorithm to determine better nutritional measures. Accurate levels were obtained on restorative measures by 85.4% and an error of 14.6%.
