Abstract

Gedung yang hampir setiap hari penuh dengan pekerja dan ruang kerja yang penuh dengan dokumen penting, memerlukan suatu proteksi yang tepat. Selain membutuhkan proteksi dari pencurian, proteksi dari kebakaran juga patut di perhatikan. Dalam kondisi terjadinya hubung singkat atau kecerobohan pemasangan alat elektronik bisa memicu terjadinya kebakaran. Pada proyek ini akan dibuat prototipe sistem proteksi kebakaran yang bisa bekerja secara otomatis ataupun manual berbasis PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) Omron CPM2A dan menggunakan sensor. Prototipe bekerja secara otomatis apabila ada asap dan api yang terdeteksi oleh sensor yang kemudian mengaktifkan pompa air dan mematikan listrik, serta menghidupkan lampu emergency sebagai langkah awal evakuasi. Saat kondisi manual, sistem bekerja jika menekan tombol darurat. Hal ini bertujuan jika kondisi sensor kurang baik dan indikasi kebakaran sudah di ketahui terlebih dahulu sebelum terdeteksi sensor.

Buildings which have many rooms that full of workers and important documents have to get a proper protection. It does not just need the thievery protection, but the fire protection needs to be considered, too. Fire itself can be caused by electrical short circuit or reckless electronic installation. This project would make a prototype system of fire protection, which is able to work both manually and automatically based on PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) Omron CPM2A and sensor. Prototype would work automatically whenever smoke and fire were detected by the sensor, then it would activate water pump and turned off the electricity, including turned on the emergency lamp as initial evacuation steps. In manual mode, the system would work by pressing the emergency button. This mode was made in case that the sensor worked lesseffectively, and fire indication has already identified before the sensor had detected.
