Abstract
Penggunaan pembangkit listrik tenaga surya telah mengalami peningkatan tiap tahun sehingga harga modul fotovoltaik bersaing secara ekonomis. Di indonesia, pembangkit listrik tenaga surya (PLTS) yang telah ada mencapai 77 Mwp. Masih jauh dari target total bauran EBT 2017 sebesar 11%. Padahal potensi surya sangat baik sekitar 4,80 kWh/m2 /day. Di Sangatta, potensi surya sampai 5,06 kWh/m2 /day karena terletak diatas garis khatulistiwa. Gedung pemerintahan Sangatta jarang ditemukan PLTS di bagian atapnya. Perencanaan PLTS rooftop di Badan Pendapatan Daerah (Bapenda) UPTB Kutim di Kalimantan Timur menurut Peraturan Presiden nomor 22 tahun 2017 memberlakukan kewajiban pemanfaatan sel surya minimum sebesar 30% dari luas atap untuk seluruh bangunan pemerintah. Maka, perencanaan PLTS rooftop on grid membahas dari aspek teknis, energi yield, aspek biaya dan pengaruh PLTS dalam mengurangi konsumsi listrik dari PLN.
