Abstract
Dalam sistem interkoneksi tenaga listrik yang terdiri dari pusat listrik dan jaringan transmisi, frekuensi merupakan indikator keseimbangan antara total beban sistem dan daya yang dibangkitkan. Frekuensi akan turun apabila terjadi kelebihan beban dan kurangnya daya yang dibangkitkan, begitu pula sebaliknya frekuensi akan naik apabila terjadi kelebihan pembangkitan karena beban yang rendah. Oleh karenanya frekuensi dijaga agar berada pada keadaan normal yaitu kisaran 50 Hz. Dalam pengaturan frekuensi diperlukan suatu sistem kontrol yang memungkinkan pengamatan secara real time dan mampu memantau serta mengendalikan beban daya listrik. Untuk itu digunakan sistem kontrol pengawas dan data akuisisi atau yang dikenal dengan SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) yang dapat memantau operasi sistem secara online sehingga kondisi sistem bisa diamati secara akurat. Penurunan frekuensi dapat disebabkan adanya gangguan unit pembangkit yang menyebabkan hilangnya beban di sisi konsumen. Disinilah peran software SINAUT Spectrum yang mempunyai fungsi memantau dan mengendalikan beban daya listrik secara real time yaitu Load Frequency Control (LFC). Selama daya putar cadangan masih tersedia dan ikut dalam program LFC maka frekuensi dapat dikembalikan pada kondisi normal.
In power system interconnection that consist of electric center and transmission network, frequency is an indicator of the balance between total system load and generated power load. The frequency will decrease if the system is overload and lack of generated power, meanwhile, the frequency will increase when the generated power is excessive. Therefore, the frequency must be kept in normal condition around 50 Hz. In settings of frequency we need a control system that allows real time supervision and control over electric power load. Because of that, we use a supervisory control system and data acquisition or known as SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition) that can look over the system operation online so the system condition can be monitored accurately. Frequency decreation can caused by generating unit problem so the load on consumer side is lost. Here is the role of SINAUT Spectrum software which has function to monitor and control the electrical power load in real time called Load Frequency Control (LFC). As long as the spinning reserve power is still available and participate in Load Frequency Control program, the frequency can be restored to normal.
