Abstract

PLTU PT.Lestari Banten Energi merupakan salah satu perusahan swasta yang di bergerak di bidang pembangkitan tenaga listrik. Pada PT.Lestari Banten Energi terdapat 1 unit Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Uap (PLTU). Sehubungan dengan keselamatan unit PLTU, sistem kelistrikan di unit pembangkit pada beberapa titik tidak boleh terputus dari aliran listrik, bahkan pada kondisi Black Out. Hal ini bertujuan menghindari kerusakan berat pada turbin dan generator akibat kehilangan pelumasan. Agar semua sistem pelumasan pada bearing-bearing tetap beroperasi maka di perlukan suatu sistem penyedia daya darurat yang handal dan mampu menunjang kebutuhan seluruh beban darurat yang ada dalamnya, maka diperlukan adanya sistem penyedia daya tak putus (Uninterruptible Power Supply) untuk beban yang tidak boleh putus pasokan listriknya. Dengan jumiah baterai sebanyak 104 unit dapat menghasilkan daya sebesar 1.184,71kW dan total beban sebesar 1.484.08kW masih terdapat kekurangan sebesar 299,37kW (24 baterai). Tetapi dengan jumlah baterai yang ada sudah mampu menanggung beban selama 48 menit untuk Emergency Generator Diesel (EDG) melakukan persiapan sinkron tegangan sampai menyuplai tegangan, karena fungsi utama UPS bukan sebagai cadangan utama di saat unit trip atau Black Out.

In connection with the safety of the PLTU unit, the electrical system in the generating unit at some point may not be cut off from the power supply, even in Black Out, conditions. This aims to avoid heavy damage to the turbines and generators due to loss of lubrication. In order for all lubrication systems on the bearings to continue to operate, there is a need for an emergency power supply system that is reliable and capable of supporting the needs of all emergency loads in it, it is necessary to have an Uninterruptible Power Supply system for loads that cannot power outages. With the number of batteries as many as 104 units can produce power of 1,184.71kW and a total load of 1,484.08kW there is still a shortfall of 299.37kW (24 batteries). But with the number of existing batteries able to bear the burden for 48 minutes for Emergency Generator Diesel (EDG) to make synchronous preparations for the voltage to supply the voltage, because the main function of the UPS is not as the main reserve when the unit trip or Black Out.
