Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas kondensor pada Unit 1 PLTU Jabar 2 Pelabuhan Ratu selama periode bulan Januari - Juli 2024 mempunyai nilai yang relatif sama. Dimana dibuktikan dengan melakukan perhitungan pada hal-hal yang berkaitan erat dengan nilai tekanan vakum serta efektivitas kondensor. Metode yang digunakan dalam cara menetahui efektivitas kondensor ini dengan metode log temperature different (LMTD) dan juga Number of Transfer Unit (NTU). Dengan maksud untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas kondensor. Data yang diperoleh dari Unit 1 PLTU Jabar 2 Pelabuhan Ratu mencakup temperatur inlet dan outlet air laut, vakum kondensor, Low Pressure Turbin Exhaust Temperature, Saturation Temperature, Cooling Water flow, steam flow, dan data Spesifikasi Kondensor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa efektivitas kondensor relatif sama selama periode bulan Januari - Juli 2024. Dilihat dari hasil perhitungan bahwa efektivitas kondensor berada pada range antara 35% - 45%.
Perubahan dari efektivitas sendiri tidak terlalu jauh setiap bulannya. Perbedaan nilai yang sedikit tersebut dipengaruhi oleh beberapa hal seperti temperature inlet dan outlet, nilai vakum, laju perpindahan panas, dan beberapa parameter yang diketahui di data.

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of the condenser in Unit 1 of PLTU Jabar 2 Pelabuhan Ratu during the period January - July 2024, which has relatively the same value. This is proven by carrying out calculations on matters closely related to the vacuum pressure value and condenser effectiveness. The research results show that the effectiveness of the condenser is relatively the same during the period January - July 2024. Judging from the calculation results, the effectiveness of the condenser is in the range between 35% - 45%. The change in effectiveness itself is not too much every month. This slight difference in value is influenced by several things such as inlet and outlet temperatures, vacuum value, heat transfer rate, and several parameters known in the data.
