Suatu sistem tenaga listrik yang baik harus memiliki nilai tegangan yang tidak melebihi batas toleransi serta rugi-rugi daya yang kecil. Batas toleransi yang diperbolehkan untuk suatu nilai tegangan berdasarkan SPLN 1 tahun 1995 yaitu sebesar +5% sampai dengan -10% dari tegangan nominalnya sedangkan rugirugi daya diusahakan sekecil mungkin sampai mengurangi kerugian. Akibat adanya impedansi saluran dan beban maka besar nilai tegangan di sisi pengirim tidak akan sama dengan besar nilai tegangan pada sisi penerima. Dalam skripsi ini dibahas rugi daya pada gardu distribusi RJ 0020 RJ memiliki dua jurusan, dengan beban merupakan pelanggan rumah tangga. Dari hasil perhitungan secara manual didapat rugi-rugi daya pada Gardu distribusi RJ 0020 RJ yaitu jurusan 1 sebesar 5,9 % dan jurusan 2 sebesar 4,5%.

In this thesis discussed the loss of power on the distribution substation RJ 0020 RJ has two majors, with the burden is a household customer. From the calculation results manually obtained power losses on the distribution of RJ 0020 RJ Distributor of the department 1 of 5,9% and the majors 2 of 4,5%.
