Abstract
Kondensor adalah komponen penting dalam siklus uap PLTGU, berfungsi mendinginkan uap dari turbin menjadi cairan dengan bantuan Condensor Vacuum Pump yang membuang udara dari kondensor. Gearbox digunakan untuk mengubah kecepatan dan arah putaran motor, namun terjadi masalah vibrasi pada Gearbox Condensor Vacuum Pump. Root Cause Analysis (RCA) digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi masalah tersebut. Data vibrasi 07 Maret 2022 menunjukkan getaran tinggi pada Gearbox, terutama pada GOH (7.86 mm/sec), GOV (3.85 mm/sec), dan GOA (6.48 mm/sec), yang kemungkinan disebabkan oleh keausan komponen. Setelah pemasangan bearing baru 17 Mei 2023, tingkat getaran menurun tetapi kembali naik karena penggunaan bearing dengan material kurang sesuai. Perbaikan dan penggunaan bearing asli 05 Juli 2023 menurunkan getaran dan membuatnya stabil, dengan GOH (1.68 mm/sec), GOV (0.93 mm/sec) dan GOA (1.86 mm/sec). Diagram fishbone menunjukkan penyebab utama masalah yaitu habisnya masa pakai Gearbox yang telah beroperasi sejak 1994 tanpa penggantian, menyebabkan vibrasi tinggi, keretakan gear, dan kerusakan drive end. Selain itu, getaran eksternal dan material palsu pada bearing juga berkontribusi terhadap masalah ini
The condenser is an important component in the PLTGU steam cycle, functioning to cool the steam from the turbine into liquid with the help a Condensor Vacuum Pump that removes air from the condenser.
Gearbox is used to change the speed and direction of rotation the motor, but there is vibration problem in the Condensor Vacuum Pump Gearbox. Root Cause Analysis (RCA) is used to identify the problem.
Vibration data from March 07, 2022 showed high vibration in the Gearbox, especially at GOH (7.86 mm/sec), GOV (3.85 mm/sec), and GOA (6,48 mm/sec), which was likely caused by component wear. After installation new bearings on May 17, 2023, the vibration level decreased but increased again due to the use of bearings with inappropriate materials. The repair and use original bearing on July 05, 2023
decreased the vibration and made it stable, with GOH (1.68 mm/sec), GOV (0.93 mm/sec) and GOA (1.86 mm/sec). The fishbone diagram showed the main cause the problem to be the end of life of Gearbox which had been in operation since 1994 without replacement, causing high vibrations, gear cracking and drive end damage. In addition, external vibration and spurious material in bearings also contributed to the problem.
