Tindakan perawatan dilakukan agar sarana dan prasarana selalu dalam kondisi baik dan pengguna lebih nyaman dalam memakainya. Dengan banyaknya jumlah AC yang terdapat di Sekolah Tinggi Teknik – PLN, maka diperlukan jadwal perawatan secara rutin. Air Conditioner (AC) merupakan salah satu sarana yang harus selalu dilakukan perawatan secara rutin. Jadwal perawatan AC pada Sekolah Tinggi Teknik – PLN dilakukan selama satu bulan sekali. Proses penjadwalan yang masih manual, dinilai kurang efektif karena memerlukan waktu yang lama dan diperlukan ketelitian dalam penyusunannya. Oleh sebab itu, jadwal perawatan belum dapat berjalan secara optimal, dikarenakan belum terdapat sistem penjadwalan perawatan AC secara otomatis serta pengingat jadwal perawatan pada AC. Dengan menggunakan metode sequential search dan SMS Gateway memungkinkan petugas dalam mencari jadwal perawatan secara optimal, serta mendapatkan informasi tentang jadwal perawatan AC. Jadwal dibuat secara otomatis setelah sistem mengirimkan SMS tentang jadwal perawatan AC yang harus dilakukan. Selain informasi jadwal perawatan AC, didalam pesan SMS terdapat informasi history terakhir perawatan pada AC. Sehingga membantu petugas dalam mengidentifikasi jenis kerusakan yang terjadi pada AC.

Schedule of air conditioning maintenance at Sekolah Tinggi Teknik PLN conducted for one month. The scheduling process is still manual, considered less effective because it takes a long time and required accuracy in the preparation. Therefore, the maintenance schedule has not been able to run optimally, because there is no automatic air conditioning scheduling system and maintenance schedule reminder on AC. Using sequential search method and SMS Gateway enables officers to find optimal maintenance schedule, and get information about AC maintenance schedule. Schedule is created automatically after the system sends SMS about AC maintenance schedule to be done. In addition to the AC maintenance schedule information, in the SMS message there is the latest maintenance history information on the AC. So help the officer in identifying the type of damage that occurs in the air conditioner.
