Abstract

Sarana transportasi darat memiliki peranan penting dalam perkembangan suatu wilayah terutama dari sektor ekonomi sehingga berdampak pada permintaan pembangunan infrastruktur jalan raya. Konstruksi jalan di Indonesia umumnya menggunakan jenis beton aspal campuran panas,salah satunya adalah Hot Rolled Sheet – Wearing Course (HRS – WC). Dengan upaya pemanfaatan serbuk karet ban yang berlimpah dengan maksud untuk mengetahui kinerja HRS – WC dengan penambahan serbuk karet ban, bahan tersebut diperoleh dari CV. Indo Sakura Ban. Pengujian ini dilakukan dengan pengujian Percentage Refusal Density (PRD) dan pengujian Marshall Immersion,dengan variasi penambahan serbuk karet ban 0%, 1%, 3%, 5%, dan 7%. Didapatkan kadar aspal optimum sebesar 7.2%. Dari hasil pengujian PRD didapatkan hasil Density,VIM,VMA, dan VFA semuanya memenuhi spesifikasi kecuali nilai VFA pada kadar 3% - 7% tidak memenuhi spesifikasi Bina Marga 2018. Pada pengujian Marshall Immersion nilai stabilitas optimum pada kadar 3% dengan waktu perendaman 30 menit sebesar 1682.07 kg. Nilai durabilitas Marshall pada kadar serbuk ban mengalami penurunan dengan nilai 97.63%, 95.71%, 94.70%, 93.60%, 85.40%, tetapi semua memenuhi spesifikasi, hanya pada kadar 7% yang tidak masuk spesifikasi.

Land transportation facilities have an important role in the development of an area, especially from the economic sector so as to impact on the demand for road infrastructure development. Road construction in Indonesia generally uses a type of hot mix asphalt concrete, one of which is Hot Rolled Sheet – Wearing Course (HRS–WC). Efforts to use rubber powder tires are abundant with the intention to know the performance of HRS - WC with the addition of rubber powder tires, the material is obtained from CV.Indo Sakura Ban. This test was conducted with Percentage Refusal Density testing (PRD) and Marshall Immersion testing,with variations in tire rubber powder additions of 0%, 1%, 3%, 5%, and 7%. Obtained optimum asphalt content of 7.2%. From the prd test results obtained density results, VIM, VMA, and VFA all meet the specifications except the VFA value at the rate of 3% - 7% does not meet the specifications of Bina Marga 2018. In Marshall Immersion testing the optimum stability value was at 3% with a 30-minute immersion time of 1682.07 kg. Marshall durability values in tyre powder levels decreased by 97.63%, 95.71%, 94.70%, 93.60%, 85.40%. but all meet specifications,only at level 7% which does not enter the specifications.
