Radio Frequency Identification atau yang lebih dikenal sebagai RFID merupakan suatu metoda identifikasi objek yang menggunakan gelombang radio. Aplikasi Radio Frekuensi Identification (RFID) banyak dikembangkan pada era ini. Salah satu aplikasi RFID yang dikembangkan disini adalah sebagai kamar pintar. Dalam perancangan sebuah kamar pintar menggunakan RFID telah diperhitungkan berbagai aspek seperti RFID card tertinggal didalam ruang kamar pintar, kamar pintar dipaksa masuk tanpa menggunakan RFID card atau dengan kata lain pembobolan pintu kamar pintar oleh pihak yang tidak bertanggung jawab, pengontrolan beban listrik AC 220 volt yang ada didalam kamar pintar dengan kontrol jarak jauh. Pada penerapan kamar pintar digunakan RFID card sebagai akses masuk kamar pintar dan akses kontrol beban listrik AC 220 volt yang ada didalam kamar pintar , jika RFID card tertinggal didalam ruangan kamar pintar maka digunakan photodiode emergency untuk akses masuknya namun mengakibatkan bunyi alarm buzzer. Untuk menghentikan bunyi tersebut yaitu dengan menempelkan RFID card pada RFID readernya. Bunyi tersebut juga digunakan saat solenoid kunci dibuka paksa tanpa menggunakan RFID card. Untuk akses kontrol beban listrik AC 220 volt digunakan photodioda kartu yang berfungsi sebagai akses aktif dan nonaktif untuk kinerja RF-Remote sehingga RF-remote yang berfungsi sebagai kontrol jarak jauh ON / OFF beban listrik AC 220 volt yang ada dalam kamar pintar dapat digunakan sesuai kondisi dari Photodioda kartu.
