The make of this project is study to the generator protection system used in power generator plants. These generator are very costly if compared with those used for domestic purposes which do not produce a high power. The operation of such huge generators require a high maintenance effort and they occupy a big room when installed in the site. So the protection system must be efficient and capable of performing its job with lowest costs and best accuracy. Current transformers, voltage transformers, relays and circuit breakers are the protective components used to work together for detecting and isolating the faultry part so that not to cause a further damage and to get it fixed as soon as possible.
