Abstract

The Internet of Things technology concept allows people to connect with machinery, equipment and other physical objects from anywhere through the Internet. In this study, the author apply the implementation of Internet of Things for everyday life use, which is to perform monitoring and reservation on parking lot of the building as object into the model form. Commonly, the availability of parking is provided when the driver is in the parking area through a system provided or the parking attendants so that it can potentially cause accumulation of vehicles in the parking area. The Internet of Things concept allows the driver to monitor and control parking area remotely before or after the driver is in a parking location. Control of parking lot is provided during certain periods to control access to the parking locations obstacle in the form of a servo motor for the driver who has made the booking. The parking system model equipped with infrared sensors and servo motors as actuators and php web-based applications as the interface to simplify the system use. The system can communicate to the internet and server after connecting to the access point via an IP address provided by the wifi module esp8266.
